The PlainSong Folk Festival began in the fall of 2002 as a showcase for local musicians and dancers. The venue ambiance is perfect for a folk festival, giving the audience of all generations a feel for the music and traditions enjoyed by the early settlers in Nebraska through today. PlainSong Folk Festival has expanded through the years and now includes all genres of folk music. Many talented performers have interpreted their music on our stage including - Laurie McClain, Michael Murphy, Kusi Taki, The Toasted Ponies, John McCutcheon, and Guy Davis, for example.
